本专业是对现代社会的政治和外交有经验的解释或规范性分析的各种理论和思想，通过学习研究和分析方法以及必要的文献，对政治外交学的专业而全面的知识体能和研究能力.以培养为首要教育目标。
基于这些知识和研究能力，在21世纪的现代社会中更具实践性地主导政治和社会发展的多样化职业的前沿.想培养文文知识分子。
为了主导21世纪的现代社会，咱们需要全球化，民主化，应该成长为符合分权化时代变化具有新政治观和民主思想的合理人格型因此，本专业员工的总体政治行为得到充分的认可，并具备进取和创造力的领导能力，从而成为组织和组织而且要具备发展社会和国家的各种职业专长的能力和素养
所以，这个专业就是为了让学生通过批判性的方式，来了解社会中各种问题的本质，具有解决问题的素养、民主和合理性，以及通过能力、主动性和创造性活动解决问题的素质。让人们在不同的组织里发挥关键作用。
政治外交学被划分为政治理论和思想、比较政治、月光直播间 政治、国际政治、月光直播间 政治等领域。最近各领域及学科之间的学制研究正在积极进行。因此超越了各个领域的界线和学术界线，实现民主政治的发展，提高生活质量，正在研究世界的安全和和平定居。而且对人权、民族和女性环境问题的关注度也在上升。
政治外交专业者可以通过多种教育内容跨社会各领域进军各领域国会议员，地方自治团体长，地方议员等政治家。通过国家考试可以进军专业外交官或行政公务员等领域他们可以进军学术领域，比如教授，专科研究员，政府部门的政策负责人，中央政客和地方政治家的助理，广播和媒体记者，政治及时事批评家选举企划及政治宣传负责人具有领导力的大企业干部等领域可以发挥自己的能力

| 본 강좌는 공산권의 몰락 이후 동유럽과 러시아에서의 변화와 개혁이 어떻게 이루어져왔는지를 알아보고자한다. 특히 사회주의체제의 붕괴이후 러시아의 변화와 동유럽 국가들을 비교하여 살펴볼 것이다. | ||
| This course begins by examining the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. The course considers how reforms which were introduced (by Mikhail Gorbachev) to strengthen the Soviet Union led instead to its collapse. We then study Russia as an example of political developments in post-communist states. We examine Russia’s struggle in the 1990s to develop a democratic polity and a functioning market economy, the more authoritarian presidency of Vladimir Putin (2000-8), and the direction that Russia is taking under the current president, Dmitri Medvedev. The course then places the Russian experience in the wider context of post-communist politics and ‘transition’ to democracy by assessing the extent to which post-communist states can be considered democratic. The course concludes by asking why the states of post-communist Europe have been much more successful at establishing political systems and market economies than the states of the Former Soviet Union. | ||

| This course introduces students to contemporary European politics. The focus is on the politics of major European states and the development of the European Union (EU). The first part of the course examines the political systems of major European states. Political debates in these countries concerning European integration will receive particular attention. The second part of the course concentrates on the EU: its historical development, its main institutions, and the biggest issues and debates facing the EU today (e.g. enlargement and relations with the rest of the world). The course will examine why the development of the EU has been so controversial. It also considers how the EU will develop in future. Will the EU remain an institution characterised by negotiation and cooperation between sovereign states? Or will it develop into a federal state, becoming an economic and military superpower. | ||

| This course helps college freshmen and sophomores to understand the foundations of international politics in terms of institutions, processes and ideologies. It introduces students to basic issues and theories in the evolution of international politics, international economics, and comparative politics and history. The course combines political and social science perspectives with an historical approach to international problems in the past and present. | ||

| 현대사회에서 ‘토론’의 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다. 토론은 개인, 집단 간의 이해관계를 조정하고, 갈등을 내부적으로 해소할 수 있는 중요한 조정기제로서 널리 활용된다. 『정치 토론』은 ‘최신의 정치 이슈’를 중심으로 수강생이 토론을 통해 자신의 생각을 표현하고, 논쟁하면서 나와 다른 생각을 가진 이를 인정하고 조정하는 법을 학습하는 교과이다. 교과는 두 부분으로 나뉘며, 먼저 자신의 생각을 정리하기 위한 도구로서 ‘논증’의 개요와 함께 다양한 토론의 방식과 절차를 배우게 된다. 교과의 두 번째 구성이자 가장 중요한 내용은 교수와 학생, 학생과 학생간의 토론이다. 토론의 주요주제가 될 ‘최신의 정치이슈’는 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화의 전 분야를 포괄하며, 강좌 개설학기에 한국사회에 중요한 함의를 제공하는 내용을 교수와 학생이 함께 선정한다. 수강생은 개인 별 주제토론, 그룹 토론, CEDA 토론, 의회 식 토론 등 다양한 토론 모듈을 통해 토론의 실제를 경험을 통해 학습하게 된다. | ||
| This course is designed to help students learn how to construct, defend, and criticize arguments related to some of the topics on political science and current affairs. It means that the main vehicle for learning will not be lectures, but rather group discussions, student presentations, debates, and written critiques. The course is divided into two parts. The first part of the course, we will read about and discuss several concrete, contemporary issues in the politics and current affairs as well as how to make arguments and perspectives on these political issues. The second part of the course will examine and debate several controversial issues in many areas. Topics will be selected from the fields of Korean politics, international relations, political economy, and political thoughts. | ||
